Large 6 Pack

BUSH

Very dark purple, 5.5” long pods can be picked slender or sized up to a plump but tender bean. Plants are sturdy and upright lending themselves to ease of harvest. Purple Queen is resistant to cool weather conditions early in the growing season. A productive variety which produces an eye-catching dark purple bean that cooks dark green and is flavourful.

Bush beans grow about 2-3 feet tall. Plant 6" apart in rows 24" apart. They do not normally require staking. Beans mature over a 2-4 week period, depending on the variety. You can pick beans when young when tender for fresh eating, or a little later when they are larger for canning/freezing and larger yield.
