The world’s shortest tomato plant, fit for a fairy garden, reaching a mere 6 to 8 inches tall! These dainty, dwarf determinate plants were developed by the University of Florida and are the ultimate potted vegetable plant. Super productive little plants are completely enveloped in bright red, tasty 1-oz. fruit.

The tidy, round plants covered in red orbs make an eye-catching hanging basket or container plant. Ideal for urban gardening, indoor plants, patios, or for the tiny house garden! The possibilities are endless with this novel dwarf tomato.

Micro Tom tomatoes require 6-8 hours of sunlight daily, either from a bright window or under grow lights. Water every 2-3 days, ensuring soil remains moist but not waterlogged. They can use a balanced organic fertilizer every two weeks to support growth. Since they are determinate, minimal pruning is required, however, ensure lower leaves are not touching the soil.

Micro Tom plants produce numerous small fruits, typically yielding up to a few dozen tomatoes per plant over their short growing season​. They are self-pollinating and do not require insect pollinators, which makes them suitable for indoor growth​.

They are exceptionally compact and can grow well in a 4-6-inch pot, making them perfect for windowsills or small containers​.​
