    VINING


    Very early, improved European Gherkin. Developed for the eastern European market, which demands high quality gherkins with slow seed development. Smooth skin gherkin that stays crisp long after picking.


    You can grow this variety in a protected or open area. Vigorous plants can set under cool conditions.


    Corentine is parthenocarpic which means it self-pollinates and does not rely on pollinators to set fruit.


    Works best if it is trellised.


    To have large enough batches to can pickles you should plant at least 6 plants as it fruits a few every other day.
