Ginger Bites

Grown right here at Sayward Haven Farm, our young ginger is harvested fresh in the fall when the rhizomes are tender, juicy and wonderfully aromatic. The skin is delicate, the flavour is bright, and it is much less fibrous than mature grocery-store ginger.

We sell the whole freshly harvested plant, including the ginger root and stems.

Fresh ginger is wonderful in curries, stir-fries, soups, sauces, baking, tea, preserves and more — and it freezes beautifully for enjoying through the winter. Our Ginger Bites are a samples size of fresh ginger. They are great if you are new to fresh ginger and want to sample it or you love your fresh ginger and want to share it with someone in your life.
